New Hope for Outdoor Fun and Adventure
The rural New Hope area abounds with exciting all seasons passive and active outdoor recreational opportunities....the 60 mile Canal Towpath (1/4 m from Inn) offers a zero elevation surface ideal for a quiet walk, trail ride on horseback, biking and cross country skiing. The River (1 block from Inn) offers lazy days of fishing, tubing and canoeing as well as soothing Sunset Cruises on a 60 foot flat boat. Take flight in a Hot Air Balloon or vintage biplane. Ski and snowboard the Poconos. Ice climb the frozen waterfalls at High Rocks. Sneak a kiss under a romantic Covered Bridge or venture onto our meandering countryside and see all 14 of them! Shop the country antique markets and savor your favorite beverage at an authentic colonial-era General Store. Enjoy our 8 pools (and tennis too!) at a private mountaintop club (1/2 mile from Inn). New Hope Auto Show
Book now (Accommodations) for the New Hope Auto Show which is held in the fields directly opposite our Inn! Since 1957, and always the second weekend in August, over 800 of the world's finest antique and classic cars have met at this Show in New Hope. With music, art, crafts and lots of great food and special events at the Show and also throughout New Hope, it's a weekend for the entire family. Many guests check the schedule of the Bucks County Playhouse before making their reservation. Note: Our registered guests receive discounts for all tickets at the Playhouse.
